Please watch our short introductory video and see what the Safety Superheroes Program can do for your school.
If you are teaching a grade 2 class in a school district that is part of the Vancouver Coastal Health region, you currently have two options to bring the Safety Superheroes program into your school.
OPTION 1 – school visit by our facilitators
Our trained facilitators can come into your school and deliver a 45 minute workshop with your grade 2 class. You will receive one copy of the book Safety Superheroes: Preventing Grandparents From Falling in English, French or Chinese for your class library, and a class set of Superhero Challenge Checklists and Safety Superhero Certificates.
To check availability for visits in your area, please fill out this online form and our booking coordinator will get back to you as soon as possible.
OPTION 2 – order a classroom resource pack
We will mail you a package of all the resources used in the workshops (book, checklists, certificates) and a lesson plan/instructions for how to deliver the workshop to your class including: talking points, prompts, questions and an additional resources list.
To order your classroom resource pack, please fill out our online order form. It will take up to 7-10 business days for you to receive your materials.
