Book launch at Glen Elementary School

Today was the launch of the “Safety Superheroes” book at Glen Elementary School. The event, which happened at the library, was a great success. Grade 3 students had the privilege to invite and share the book launch with their parents and grandparents. They listened to the story (told by the author Crystal Stranaghan). Each child received a copy of the book and had it signed by the author and by the “Safety Superheroes”, Ana and Maya. Several copies of the book are also available at the school library. The children were very engaged and listened carefully. At the end of the reading time they were able to list all the safety tips highlighted on the book. The children are now geared towards becoming a “Safety Superheroes” in their own homes.
